Mel Snowden & Bert
I first contacted Victoria on 11/11/2013 having a ex racer and the problems they come with I needed help! We had lots of issue with basic schooling work, so we started form starch with having a lesson once a week, learning new things every week!! Without Victoria help I wouldn't be where I am now out competing on my own! She has given me the knowledge and the confidence that I need, I would always recommend her and have done in the past!! Thanks for everything vic!!!

Becky Turner & Bo
I first started having lessons with Vicky in 2013 on my exracer, Bo, who I was a bit stuck with! In this time, Vicky has completely transformed my riding and we have gone from barely being able to canter a circuit of the school to winning at novice level dressage. When I first got Bo, he didn't really know how to jump and was so spooky, every time Vicky changed a jump for us he would grind to a halt! However, Vicky has helped us to grow in confidence so much that Bo is a like a different horse and we have been able to achieve my goal of eventing which I am so happy about. Vicky has been incredibly supportive, even giving up her free time to help me warm up at events (most recently helping us to achieve our lowest dressage score to date!) She has also had Bo on schooling livery for me, where he was very happy and came back to me much improved! I always really look forward to my lessons with Vic, I find she explains things very clearly and pushes me just enough so that I always come away feeling like I've achieved something. I'm really looking forward to another winter of training with Vic in preparation for next season and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a great trainer 😊

Clare Henson & Zara
I knew Vicky from previous career and we had spoken about horses so when I bough Zara as a just backed 5yr old I knew who would be best to steer us in the right direction and help get us going together.
In Nov 2013 we started off with regular lessons at Vicky's yard as and when work would allow. Zara started to progress well so we began to introduce the jumping.
With Vicky's help and guidence we were placed at almost all every dressage outing unaffiliated.
The jumping is still working in progress on my part but with Vicky's encouragement we will get back to where we left off.
After a period of time off for me due to injury Vicky has helped us both get back up and on the road to success, our best success to date is 3rd in Novice in a strong quilifier at Brook farm.
Zara has been to boot camp with Vicky and always comes home like a different horse. We enjoy Vicky's lessons and clinic's and always come away having learnt something and progressed a little more in Zara's training.

I've been having lessons with Vicky for almost two years now and she's taken me from jumping barely more than wobbly minimus to "omg - that looks rather high" with a smile and and lots of encouraging words and clever advice. Her approach to teaching is sympathetic and she's able to adapt to your specific needs and requirements. That's not to say she won't let you know if you don't get it right tho: "that was good, but how about you try it THIS way..."
Lessons with Vicky are brilliant fun and she always comes up with some weird and wonderful exercises that are totally unexpected so it keeps you on your toes and your horse interested - and that's what riding is all about at the end of the day !!!
